Four university programs that can't get you employed but are competitive

Pann: University programs that can't get you employed but are competitive

(Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration)

1. [+72, -9] Now it has become University = Place for Employment... I thought universities were supposed to be for studying subjects that you're interested in.

2. [+63, -2] Personally, I think it's Arts & Phys-ed... sobs

3. [+42, -2] Let me cry as a psychology major...

4. [+23, -0] I think Arts & Phys-ed has higher competition... I'm from an arts university and it was competitive enough, but the music department was no joke. I even saw the admission ratio of 600:1

5. [+23, -0] It's OK if you're majoring in design. But if your major is pure arts, you're hopeless...

6. [+21, -7] For liberal arts, there's no employment except nursing and college of education. Even for college of education, the majority of people don't pass the teacher certification examination. If you're lucky, you'll be a teacher at a private school. If you're average, you'll be teaching at an academy... It's sad but it's the reality of liberal arts.

7. [+19, -2] Public Administration... Most of my colleagues are public servants but why did we even pay tuition to go to school ㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+14, -1] I'm in mass communication and it's not like we don't get employed. However, people choose mass communication to get into fields of broadcast and media but the majority of them end up in advertising and marketing. These days, a lot of them get into Internet media if we're talking about top 10 universities.
