In front of Kang's family, they took turns to rape Kang's daughter. Also, they threatened to kill Kang's 1-year-old son with a knife and threatened the family. They took $15,000 worth of things from the family and ran away. They raped a total of 5 people from their 10 crimes and stole $30,000 worth of things before getting arrested.

The ruling said, "The actions of the accused ones have destroyed the society's order of laws and morals completely. Not only the victims, but they also shocked the society greatly. Their planned crimes as a group which is beast-like show that they've given up to be humans. Therefore, they should be excluded from the society forever. The crime of putting a knife on the 1-year-old son's throat and raping 5 people in front of their families can never be forgiven."

Bae Jinsun and Kim Chulwoo got a death sentence and Park Younghwan and Kim Kwonsuk got a life sentence. In 1995, Bae and Kim's death sentence was executed.

Instiz: Last Korean minors whose death sentence was executed

- It this happened in the present, the ruling would've said the minors will learn from their mistake and that they will reflect...

- Once a minor commits a crime that crosses the limit, they shouldn't be counted as a minor anymore...

- We need to have a death sentence back.

- Why did the other two get a life sentence? Pisses me off
