Pann: Official apology by BTS fan who wrote Blackpink rumors

1. [+200, -189] I feel so bad for Blackpink... When BTS first debuted, they also media-played as "second Bigbang" and "second EXO". People have double standards for Blackpink.

2. [+162, -226] Congrats on Blackpink's Spotify results. BTS fans posted another post that got more than 500 likes to claim that Apple Music and Spotify must be doing sajaegi since Melon does sajaegi, too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When another artist gets higher digital sales, it's a sajaegi ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+151, -148] They're #3 on American Youtube, why are people still mentioning Southeast Asia ㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+84, -104] Armys, stop going crazy over men and living like that. It's petty.

5. [+69, -17] I'm honestly curious. Then why are they #300 on Apple Music? If they're doing well, shouldn't their ranks go up on all platforms?

6. [+66, -13] Why do people hate Blackpink so much? It's a personal preference to like or dislike an artist but I don't think you should manipulate stuff to bash them.

Before Blackpink's ads started playing on Spotify, their rank was #140. After the ads, they were #35 on the chart.

At the same time, their rank on Apple Music was #306

When people ask about this matter to Spotify, Spotify keeps giving automated and ambiguous answers instead of a straight yes/no

Spotify - ad supported
Apple Music - not supported

Pann: Blackpink's current controversy isn't fake, it's true

1. [+323, -14] I'm writing to the comments that are saying we shouldn't speak without official facts. Nilo and Shaun don't have official sajaegi records, either. But we've labeled them as sajaegi because their results don't make any sense. Melon even said there was no unnatural streaming. However, we all know that Shaun and Nilo did sajaegi. It's the same for Spotify and Apple Music. Imagine an artist charting at #140 on Melon and then jumping up to #30 within a day. It could happen but what if their rank is unchanged on other streaming charts? You can't help but be suspicious and as you do research, you find that they have an ad promo. I know Spotify's promo is official but if it counts for the billboard and streaming, I don't think we can say this is their results. If there's a proof that their results come from right ways and explanations for their indescribable change of rank on the chart, please bring it.

2. [+306, -22] Blackpink really can't let go of BTS with their media-play... Even I don't like it. If I were a BTS fans, I'd really hate it.

3. [+282, -10] #35 and #306 are way too different.

4. [+67, -6] They need to bring official results by the billboard or Spotify. It's so tiring, it's always us Armys getting silenced. Anybody can write a post but the Armys have to clean the dirt after.

5. [+60, -1] Blackpink fans always talked about their "classy" and "expensive" vibes, they're so annoying ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+54, -1] BTS' comeback is next week, so shameless of them to ride on the comeback. As expected of the media-play king YG.

Pann: Blackpink fans faked a promo and Starbucks' official account has responded

1. [+196, -8] I think Blackpink's American advancement is their historical dark past and the start of their declination. Their media-play was unveiled, their crappy stage on the American broadcast created so many gifs, their concert was full of empty seats, they keep making these embarrassing records.

2. [+150, -2] They even provide a guide on how it works.

3. [+140, -1] They even lie about getting a drink, so people are actually buying it.

4. [+66, -0] People must find K-pop annoying with these controversies.

5. [+65, -0] I hope Starbucks sues them. Are they insane?
