Manager's starting salary has increased by 3 times since 10 years ago. 10 years ago, their starting salary was $500~700 a month. Now, their monthly salary starts at $1,000~1,500. When they become a chief manager, it's $2,000~3,000. Around their 15th year, they become a directing manager and their annual salary is $50,000~60,000.

Pann: Shocking incomes of celebrity managers

1. [+155, -19] Once again, the entertainment industry has a really unfair income distribution. Celebrities take the most and the staff including coordis, managers, and makeup artists get the least.

2. [+153, -0] Even when the celebrities go on a vacation, the managers have to drive them and take care of them. I wouldn't be able to become a manager because seeing my celebrity's income will hit me hard.

3. [+104, -2] Wow, I expected them to earn so much more...

4. [+40, -2] They don't earn a lot compared to the work they do. Managers and staffs have to follow every schedule of the celebrity and they even sleep less than the celebrity because they have to wake up earlier and go to bed later. Of course, it's not like the staff has to promote like the celebrity so I can't say their job is harder. But it's still a tough job and they don't get what they deserve.

5. [+40, -0] Their annual salary is only $50,000 when they've been working for 15 years?

6. [+34, -0] I can't become one because I'm going to be really jealous of the celebrity... We work hard together but my income is tiny ㅠㅠ

7. [+30, -0] Isn't $1,000~1,500 the minimum wage? It's not like they get paid for their rent or get the 4 insurances. Just because they're provided with simple meals, it doesn't mean that they have nothing else to spend on.

8. [+29, -0] Honestly, working as a manager seems like serving someone as an inferior. I can never work as one.
