Lee Seung Chul gets into a conflict with Junsu's fans for his remake song

Article: Lee Seung Chul has a conflict with fans of JYJ Junsu for his remake song promotion

On the 16th, Lee Seung Chul tweeted "what's the point of raging over something I said when I wasn't serious" "I'll never be able to see Junsu again. It's a pity"

Lee Seung Chul's song "I'm in Love" is an OST of a drama and is a remake of JYJ Junsu's song in his 2nd solo album.

At first, JYJ fans pointed out that Lee Seung Chul never mentioned about the original song and it made it seem like LSC's version was the original one.

The situation was settled when it was revealed that the composer of the song and Kim Junsu's reps agreed to it. But on the fourth, he posted on his fan cafe, "remakes usually don't mention original singers" "The wiser thing for Junsu's fans to do is to make his song win #1 and get it known more. It's bitter how they're demanding an official apology without any respect for a sunbae who's 30 years senior."

=====

1. [+699, -32] Didn't he make a remake of Kim Taewon's "Flashback 3" and release it without permission? I heard that they have a bad relationship because of that. I guess he's the king of picking up other singers' songs... If he wants to be respected for his experience, why didn't he respect Kim Taewon? You stole the song, released a remake of it and hit big...

2. [+132, -10] The fans didn't complain about the remake. His song was being promoted as if it was an original song so the fans requested to mention the original singer and the official tweet was "Lee Seung Chul first got this song in 2013 (he didn't release it, he just got the song) It's Kim Junsu's fault to release the song without permission." The fans demanded an apology for the tweet. Why is Lee Seung Chul making it seem like the fans are complaining about the remake?

3. [+120, -11] The fans were frustrated but they decided to let it pass but your tweets are bringing more criticisms to you. When you get old, you only get greedy. Take time and reflect how you behaved towards your music hoobae and their fans. I'm not saying that it's Lee Seung Chul's fault, but he should've corrected the situation when it went wrong.

4. [+111, -9] Why should we respect him when we're just the audience? Why does it matter to us that he has 30 years old of experience?

5. [+101, -9] Lee Seung Chul looks arrogant these days. Whether you're old or not, you have to apologize if you did something wrong. I don't understand why Lee Seung Chul's personalities keep getting worse as he ages.

6. [+98, -10] I'm in Love is a b-side track in Junsu's album... The public doesn't really know it because it was never broadcasted, but the fans like the song a lot... We're not saying that making a remake is wrong, but making it as an OST and tweeting to tell us that we should feel honored... this is the problem

7. [+90, -7] If it was the fault of the OST staff, then he should've just ended at that. What's with the tweets saying that it's originally Lee Seung Chul's song and that the fans should just stay quiet? You made this situation bigger

8. [+83, -6] He stole Kim Taewon's "Flashback3" and released it as "Last Concert". Why does he keep stealing other people's work? Even though it's legally not wrong, it's morally wrong. The public accepted him even though he had many scandals like marijuana because he's a good singer but he's just an arrogant ahjussi.
